Wednesdays Update on Felix
I’m with Felix at the Hospital. Yesterday was VERY hard on him but he is much better today. Breathing is better, still on oxygen.
First dialysis yesterday really helped. Second one will be this afternoon some time. They are using the emergency port that is in his neck until he is well enough for the second long term port. They have to get rid of the pneumonia first.
He ate good and has real good energy today.
I have to keep reminding him to slow because he is so much better than Monday and Tuesday.
The stuff in his chest is getting better. Hopefully by the weekend they can do the other port.
That’s all I know at this time. Keep the prayers and positive energy coming, it’s working.
Update on Felix
He had to go to emergency room yesterday because he was having trouble breathing so much that just rolling over in bed he couldn't catch his breath.
They did lots of test to see if he was having internal bleeding or blood clots. A few other lung and breathing test.
He has had oxygen since yesterday. He had half a blood transfusion but couldn't do the other half because blood pressure is to high. They are trying to control it.
He is in surgery now. They are putting in one port that takes two weeks to heal. It's so he can do his daily dialysis treatments. Then he is having a second emergency port put in so they can start dialysis right away.
I think they have to keep him overnight again to watch the ports. We don't know if the first dialysis will be today, tomorrow or how soon.
He had to HAVE two vaccines over the weekend that is required to have a transplant so we thought that's why he got so bad but it's just his kidneys. He took a turn for the worse fast so that's why he is in the hospital now.
Please keep sharing so we can find a hero and this nightmare can be over for him. Send lots of positive thoughts and energy to him so that he will at least be feeling better with the dialysis real soon.

A quick update on Felix.
He went to the doctor yesterday. His number dropped to 6 now. His hemoglobin numbers are very low that his doctor is concerned. He has to have them checked again over the weekend. If it's not better he has to go to emergency room Monday to have a blood transfusion and they will then put the port in for dialysis. He might need to stay a night, then it will be a few weeks of learning how to deal with the port and dialysis.
We are taking one step at a time. So many questions and we are getting the answers as we go. Please keep telling his story so we can find someone. Print out the QR code and place in stores, windows, churches, yard signs, bulletin boards and all social media.

We still have not found someone for Felix and he is getting worse every week. He has pushed off dialysis as long as he can because of the stress it puts on your body but it looks like he can't wait any longer. Not being on dialysis is also better when getting a transplant but since we haven't found anyone he has no choice and he have run out of time. The next steps are going to be really hard for him, me and the kids.
Two new symptoms to add to the very long list. Barely any sleep each night and uncomfortable leg spasms.

These are all things he deals with that you can't see or that he doesn't share.
-Trouble urinating and urinating often
-Swelling in hands and feet
-Extreme weakness or fatigue,
-Severe dry and itchy skin (inside)

We have had over 600 views to his NKR site and 3 people got tested but no one has worked out. So we have to keep trying until we get the call.

Felix needs a kidney donor!
Felix still needs a donor ASAP.
Here is some things he can't do now, that you can't see just looking at him.
Can't mow the lawn
Can't workout
Can't go up steps
Can't eat a very long list of foods
Can't do photo shoots
Can't stay awake all day
Can't sleep through the night
Can't travel
Can't do things around the house
Can't walk around alot
And so very MUCH MORE !!!!
Each month something gets added to the list that he no longer can do because of his kidney failure.
He isn't living his life. It's on hold until he is blessed by someone.
