Update:
Felix had his second port put in his stomach yesterday. He had lots of pain and burning so they had him on meds. They did an ultra sound because he couldn’t urinate but finally was able to after hours. His heart rate and blood pressure kept getting elevated during the night.
This morning they decided to do another dialysis treatment. They are trying to get him to a point that he can be ok until his permanent port heals, that takes about two weeks to heal. They are watching for signs of infections and watching his blood pressure and the new port. I think they might end up keeping him today. We are hoping maybe tomorrow they will let him go home. We are hoping to talk to doctor today to get more info and a plan.
